In June 2011, we held our first event in Paris at the newly opened La Gaîté lyrique, and hosted a three-day festival of panels, performances and exhibitions, showcasing a wide range of experimental artists and their latest works.
We hung out on the rooftop with visual artist Ernesto Klar and filmmaker Edouard Salier as they shared their thoughts on their colleague’s exhibitions, and caught up with Glasser backstage as she had an epiphany about Jamie xx.
We realized Quayola‘s experimental geometric visualization Topologies fit right in with the surrounding ornate French architecture, and quite agree with John Rothenburg of SoSoLimited who said: "Everyone is both technically proficient and also making something beautiful. I think that’s the hardest part about being an artist that’s also working with technology."
